Nigeria: NEMA warns of climate-induced disaster

In a statement issued yesterday, Mohammed Audu-Bida, director of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) advised stakeholders to engage the media and community leaders on potentials hazards posed by climate change by activating early warning and forecasts to reduce the social and economic impact of all natural disasters including flood.
