"We must do everything possible to build the resilience of the people and communities to the negative impacts of floods, windstorms, ocean surge, diseases among others," said Alhaji Sani-Sidi, Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency. There has been an increase in flooding accross the country since the start of the rainy season, reports Vanguard.
