Norway is helping Vietnam to prevent and reduce risks caused by disasters through the project “Community-based Disaster Risk Reduction,” sponsored by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Norwegian Red Cross, and the Vietnam Red Cross, reports Thanh Nien.
The project aims to enhance the resilience of local residents in disaster-prone areas, and to improve the disaster prevention and response capacity of local authorities.
