Pakistan: Fatemi attends UN Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction

Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi arrived here on Sunday to represent Pakistan to 3rd World United Nations Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction, reports Daily Times.

Soon after his arrival Tariq Fatemi represented Pakistan at the opening session of the event. Expressing gratitude for Pakistan's participation and support to the event, Kishida stated that Japan looked forward to sharing knowledge on disaster risk reduction with Pakistan, which itself has suffered from natural disasters in the past.
