Pakistan: New disaster risk reduction policy approved

According to the News International, the policy and National Disaster Management Plan for the next 10 years was approved based on the scintillating performance of the National Disaster Management Authority.

The report announces that Major General Saeed Aleem has taken charge as new Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), who said 'he feels proud to become a part of a very vital organization.'
