Filipinos call for more initiatives, global to local, to address climate change and its impact as scientists warn that the Philippines could experience famine by 2020 as a result of the impact of 'global warming' on natural resources. President of Xavier University in Cagayan de Oro City, said "two ways of addressing climate change is through reforestation and reducing disaster risk...we need to act responsibly for sustainability..."
