Philippines: Climate change issues in disaster preparedness programs sought

League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) president Mayor Oscar Rodriguez, in an exclusive interview, said disaster preparedness entails taking into consideration the effects of climate change in current weather conditions and current disaster plans of local government units. Talking at the 'Tapatan Roadshow in Disaster Preparedness and Climate Change Adaptation' in Luzon, he added “This seminar is a good venue to share best practices in disaster preparedness from different cities and municipalities in Central Luzon.”
