“I think it is high time for businesses to increase their participation in disaster resiliency in their respective localities,” District Representative Rufus Rodriguez said during the first quarterly meeting of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) last Wednesday, reports the Business World.
“Our existing DRRMC program needs to be more cohesive and there must be active involvement between the businesses, the residents, the LGUs (local government units) and the national government because it is a matter of everyone’s concern, no one exempted,” he added.
