Upload your content

Congressmen in Metro Manila warn of the need to relocate some 100,000 informal settlers within waterways as an important step to reduce the impacts of floods, according to the Manila Bulletin. Congressmen emphasize that such relocation is important as part of a 20-year flood control project presented to President Benigno Aquino. This view is backed by a World Bank study and was discussed in a congressional hearing that involved key ministries in Metro Manila.
