The Agriculture Ministry has decided to use drone technology for the spraying of insecticides to control the spreading of the crop-destroying caterpillar known as “Sena” (Fall Armyworm).

The Agriculture Ministry has already taken a number of measures to prevent the spreading of the Sena caterpillar. The Ministry introduced four insecticides and also appointed a task-force to work on this mitigation. The government has already granted a 50 percent subsidy for those insecticides.
