The Diversity in Disaster conference has been planned to engage emergency management practitioners, policy-makers and community services leaders and volunteers with the latest research on disaster resilience. It will help advance the aims of the emergency management sector in better understanding and engaging with diverse communities. At the heart of the conference is the opportunity to commit to inclusive and effective emergency management by understanding the strengths and needs of people from a range of backgrounds. 17-18 April, Melbourne, Australia
