UK Guardian: Climate change, how to play our hand?

In an editorial for the Guardian, Peter Stott, head of climate monitoring and attribution at the UK Met Office addresses the issue of extreme weather phenomena and the potential link to climate change. He stresses a need for a new advance in forecasting systems to help identify changing trends in extremes.
