The webinar for stakeholders in Indonesia was organized with the aim of encouraging stakeholders to share their efforts to take actions to implement the Sendai Framework and submit their work as Voluntary Commitments (VCs) to the SFVC online platform. It showcased two voluntary commitments being implemented in Indonesia, namely “Fostering Indonesian Youth and Young Professionals as the Generator of Innovation in Science, Engineering, and Technology for Disaster Resilience at National and Global Levels” by U-INSPIRE Indonesia and “PREDIKT - Innovative Family Preparedness for Disaster Toolkit” by PT. PREDIKT Tangguh Indonesia. The webinar also shared a step-by-step guide on how to submit VCs on the SFVC online platform.

Over 40 participants joined the webinar and it was held in English and Bahasa with live language interpretation allowing the webinar to be more accessible to stakeholders. The webinar was jointly organized by U-Inspire Indonesia, the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), and the UNDRR Office in Japan with support of the Indonesia CSO Coalition for the Global Platform 2022.
