Serbia: Closer to setting up national platform for disaster risk reduction

The Sector for Emergency Situations is participating in a two-day seminar entitled 'Presenting national platforms in the context of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction and the Hyogo Framework for Action' for the establishment of a national platform for disaster reduction in Serbia in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme, reports EMG.

The seminar will be opened today by the Assistant Minister of the Interior and Head of the Sector for Emergency Situations, Predrag Maric and the UN Resident Coordinator to Serbia, William Infante in Belgrade.
