Some of the world's favorite beaches are about to disappear due to sea level rise, warns Professor Andrew Cooper, Professor of coastal studies in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Ulster. The problem is being compounded by 'lack of political will to adapt, uncertainty over how much sea level will rise, short-term coastal management initiatives, and climate change sceptics.'
