Australia: Lessons learnt from 2013 to be applied to cyclone

The Gladstone Disaster Management Group is equipped for Cyclone Marcia, reports the Observer.

This is according to the group chair Mayor Gail Sellers, who said the response group had learnt some valuable lessons from the 2013 floods, and that they were "most definitely" in a better position this time around; they now have better communication channels and more people on the ground to support the process.
