Why this 10-year-old feels prepared for the next typhoon

Felicity Lumongsod has experienced typhoons her entire life. But this typhoon season, she's more prepared to face disasters, writes Jennina June Leira Lanza for Rappler.

Following community-based interventions and training from World Vision in the Philippines, Felicity said, "Before we didn’t talk about the things we need to do when there is a typhoon on it’s way. Through this training, I learned that children play a vital role in preparing for typhoons."
