Telling unheard stories
In a country like Malaysia with little awareness of one’s right to health, we want to tell stories about people’s battles with disease, struggles in caring for sick loved ones, and, crucially, their demands for better policies to improve health and prevent unnecessary deaths. CodeBlue seeks to embolden people to advocate for their right to health care so that health issues are front and centre in Malaysia.
Who we serve
CodeBlue serves the people, first and foremost. We do not align ourselves with the government of the day, any political party, or powerful business interests. Our reporting is based on what matters to our readers and what affects their lives and their ability to enjoy better health care.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
