The institute of Communication is the youngest institute of Tallinn University. The departments have a long history of their own, but this institute, an umbrella for many different but interconnected communication disciplines, was founded in 2010.
Although of their young age, they have lot to offer both to students and to partners in the form of cooperation. Their goal is clear - they provide interesting and high quality courses and enhance and strengthen the development of professional identity of their students. Studying is not just about reading, writing and listening; it is even more about discussing, reasoning, questioning and thinking.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
