International Development UEA (DEV) manages the UK-based and international activities of the faculty of the University of East Anglia's (UEA) School of International Development (DEV) - one of the UK's leading teaching and research institutions in its field. This includes managing the international research and consultancy, and UK based professional short courses. The School of International Development comprises faculty, research fellows, and external consultants, with expertise in a range of disciplines and sectors.
DEV is well-known for its work on climate change, including impacts, adaptation and vulnerabiltiy, mitigation, and governance, particularly the Governance of Clean Development. DRR research and consultancy is located within the focus of vulnerability and adaptation to natural hazards/disasters.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
