The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is an association of cities, villages, townships, counties and regional organizations serving Central Ohio. MORPC takes pride in bringing communities of all sizes and interests together to collaborate on best practices and plan for the future of our growing region. The organization does this through a variety of programs, services, projects and initiatives – all with the goal of improving the lives of its residents and making Central Ohio stand out on the world stage.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.

USA: Updated green infrastructure toolkit serves as a regional resource

Ohio communities now have even greater access to green storm water infrastructure information through the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission’s updated Green Infrastructure Toolkit. The toolkit now features training resources and local case studies, and it also provides information about implemented practices and funding sources.
