Oxfam-Solidarité is a Belgian NGO, active in development and humanitarian aid and working for the implementation of sustainable answers to poverty, injustice and exclusion in the world. Oxfam-Solidarity is active in more than 20 countries in the south, where it supports partner organizations working for a real change.
As for Oxfam-International confederation, Oxfam-Solidarity goal is that by 2019 resilience to disasters and conflict is strengthened in high risk countries, through improved disaster preparedness and risk reduction, and building the capacity of civil society groups and communities, in particular women, to manage shocks, stresses and uncertainty.

The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
