Route Fifty is a digital news publication from Atlantic Media’s Government Executive Media Group, which also publishes Government Executive magazine, GovExec.com, Nextgov and Defense One.
Route Fifty connects the people and ideas advancing state, county and municipal government across the United States.
Route Fifty initially launched as GovExec.com’s State & Local channel in July 2014 and expanded to a standalone Government Executive Media Group digital publication, RouteFifty.com, in April 2015.
Route Fifty is particularly interested in stories about technology and innovation at the state and local level. But the publication covers a variety of topics under the larger state, county and municipal government umbrella beyond technology and innovation, including issues like management, budgeting, best practices, smart ideas, open data, open government and public services.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
