Save the Children Fiji is the country’s peak child rights organization and we have been helping make meaningful change in the lives of children for more than 40 years.
Since our inception in 1972 we have worked to improve access to education and health programs for some of the countries most vulnerable and marginalized children and families.
We are a non-political organization that is dedicated to bettering the lives of children in a sustainable manner in Fiji.
We currently work directly within 52 informal communities and villages helping children access health and education at home while also driving for change on a national and international agenda.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
