The aim of Weather is to act as a bridge between the interests of those having a professional and a general interest in the weather, as well as between meteorologists and those working in related fields such as climate science.
Weather is a full-colour, peer-reviewed journal and the Editors welcome high-quality novel and original research and review manuscripts containing excellent quality figures, photographs, and imagery. Weather has a broad audience ranging from scientists and practitioners in both academia and industry, to students, teachers, and interested amateurs. Manuscripts should be of excellent quality, short, engaging and highly illustrative on any topic in relation to the weather and climate, including climate science, oceanography, historical meteorology, hydrometeorology and related atmospheric and environmental science matters.
The Sendai Framework Voluntary Commitments (SFVC) online platform allows stakeholders to inform the public about their work on DRR. The SFVC online platform is a useful toolto know who is doing what and where for the implementation of the Sendai Framework, which could foster potential collaboration among stakeholders. All stakeholders (private sector, civil society organizations, academia, media, local governments, etc.) working on DRR can submit their commitments and report on their progress and deliverables.
