This report describes the national emergency management system of Saint Lucia and presents 2011 NEMO activities, achievements and challenges. It also discusses a five year strategic plan and several mitigation, planning and preparedness programs and projects related to disaster management, school safety, climate change adaptation, risk assessment, public information and risk communication.

In addition, the annual report highlights all major 2011 emergency events and summarizes reports by national and district disaster committees and government liaison officers, as well as special reports by NEMO Auxiliary Corps, CADM II National Team,  Saint Lucia Cadet Corps, and Saint Lucia Fire Service.
