ASEAN Common framework for comprehensive school safety

This document provides a framework to enhance school safety against the adverse impacts of natural and man-made hazards for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The ASEAN Common Framework on School Safety (ACFCSS) contributes to school safety at a global level by bringing diverse school safety efforts into a clear and unified focus in order for education sector partners to work effectively. In addition, the ACFCSS provides information for collaboration with other sectors in order to maximize global, regional, national and local levels efforts. This document also provides targets, monitoring indicators and comes with a roll-out manual for the operationalization of the framework.
