Assessing quality and cost benefit: a Philippines case study
This document includes a background on community based disaster risk reduction (CBDRR) programming in the Philippines and an overview of a comprehensive recent Quality Impact Assessment and Cost Benefit Analysis, undertaken to document the impact of CBDRR programming on vulnerable populations. It aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of increasing pre-disaster investment to sustainably reduce risk and enhance community resilience. The study also intends to contribute to an IFRC-wide effort to improve disaster risk reduction performance measurement and impact analysis.
