This paper presents a new Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation (PRRO) of which the primary goal is to offer assistance to food-insecure people affected by natural disasters and HIV and AIDS in Malawi. It addresses: (a) disaster risk reduction and livelihood protection on the topics of HIV/AIDS, nutrition, and food for assets (FFA); and (b) relief assistance.
