British Virgin Islands: end of IDNDR assessment report (1998)
This report provides an assessment of the achievements and progress made in disaster risk reduction (DRR) by British Virgin Islands during the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR). It describes country’s recent experience with natural hazards and disasters, such as cyclone, flood and earthquake, also presents national institutional and legal framework for DRR and provides strategic guidelines and recommendations for future activities.
