Burkina Faso: Plan national multi risques de preparation et de reponse aux catastrophes
Le plan national de Burkina Faso de contingence multirisques de préparation et de réponse aux catastrophes a pour objectif de : i) clarifier les relations/responsabilités entre les différents services techniques de l'Etat et les partenaires humanitaires ; ii) faciliter la coordination des actions et permettre une mise en cohérence des plans sectoriels ; iii) Identifier et diminuer les risques les plus probables ; iv) offrir un cadre général de planification conjointe couvrant les risques d'urgence ; v) Intégrer le processus de prévention, de préparation et de réponse aux urgences dans les plans et programmes nationaux de développement ; vi) réduire les délais d'intervention et le nombre de perte de vies humaines.
Le Burkina Faso est un pays continental soumis à des catastrophes naturelles et à des crises humanitaires de plus en plus récurrentes. Ces dix (10) dernières années le pays a enregistré les principales catastrophes naturelles et crises humanitaires suivantes: les sécheresses, les inondations, les épidémies de méningite, la grippe aviaire, et les mouvements massifs de populations.
