CDERA news: monthly bulletin of the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Response Agency, January, 2009

Disaster risk management practitioners and experts converged in Barbados for the 3rd Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) Conference, held on December 8-12, 2008 at the Hilton Hotel. The annual, CDERA-hosted Conference is the signature disaster risk reduction and management event in the region. It is an International Strategy for Disaster Reduction event, and continues to be a key vehicle for advancing the CDM agenda and gauging its progress in the region.
