Child-centred disaster risk reduction toolkit

Thousands of children, hundreds of community members and partner civil society organisation staff, and Plan International staff in 8 countries have contributed to the completion of this Child-Centred Disaster Risk Reduction Toolkit.

The toolkit is made up of 4 modules:

• Training children on disaster risk reduction through the hazard, vulnerability and capacity assessment

• Planning, monitoring and evaluating child-centred disaster risk reduction programmes

• Action planning with children on disaster risk reduction

• Advocacy with children on disaster risk reduction.
