Children’s vulnerabilities to climate change and disaster impacts in East Asia and the Pacific

This report provides an overview of the climate change trends and potential impacts on children in East Asia and the Pacific. It illustrates ways in which children are involved in climate change adaptation and describes barriers to child-centred climate change adaptation. The paper ends with recommendations for strengthening adaptation policies and practices to address children’s vulnerabilities and improve children’s adaptive capacity to climate-related risks.
