Choose your partner correctly in emergency response: partnership innovation learned from the Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami 2011
This report aims to produce an inter-organizational network of organizations involved in emeregency operations related to the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami 2011. It identifies and highlights position, value, and success/failure of cooperation in the network during emergency response of the earthquake and tsunami, and reveals factors that influence success or failure of cooperation in delivering humanitarian aid during the emergency response. The Social Network Analysis (SNA) coupled with in-depth findings from Iwate and Miyagi prefectures of Japan are presented in this report.
