Climate change and Africa: APF policy brief no. 1

This paper was prepared jointly by the APF Support Unit and the NEPAD Secretariat and presented to the 8th Meeting of the Africa Partnership Forum in Berlin, Germany on 22-23 May 2007. It urges to mainstream adaptation in national planning and marshal support for climate risk management in Africa. It also calls on Africa to contribute to mitigation efforts and promotion of clean energy development.
