Climate change in the South Caucasus: a visual synthesis
This publication is aimed at communicating known facts on climate change in the three main countries of the South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. It describes climate change trends and scenarios in the region and considers more specifically the risks associated with heat wave, mudflow, landslide, flooding and avalanche, as well as the impacts of climate change on water resources, food security, biodiversity, people and wellbeing.
It clearly makes the point that climate change is no longer a myth in the Caucasus and proposes mitigation activities and adaptation measures.
