Country document on disaster risk reduction: Jamaica 2014

The report provides a snapshot of current efforts in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), and over time will track progress made in reducing disaster risks. It also records definition of priorities and strategies, major challenges tackled in reducing not only loss of lives, but also the economic, social and environmental impacts associated with disaster risks. It should be periodically updated as new information becomes available. The main objective is that the Country Document becomes a record of DRR efforts of the country.
