Cross-border, cascading climate risks and the LDC Group: catalyzing management options within the UNFCCC

- Elevate and champion the voices of the LDC Group and the AGN within the UNFCCC processes.
- Encourage more countries and regional institutions to actively propose regional and multi-country adaptation projects.
- Increase climate finance for regional and multi-country adaptation projects.
- Leverage the support and existing policy mechanisms of regional bodies for the cooperative management of transboundary climate and adaptation risks.
- Fund the LDC Expert Group (LEG) and others to develop technical guidelines for assessing TCARs in the NAPs.
