Decisions for the decade
"Decisions for the Decade" is a highly interactive game designed to facilitate learning and dialogue around long-term investments under uncertainty. Focused on planning for extremes and experiencing the impacts of climate change, the game encourages cooperation to better manage risks. It is particularly suited for government officials at local and national levels but is valuable for a broad range of stakeholders facing long-term climate risks.
Requiring a large room with tables and chairs, the game simplifies concepts of deep uncertainty and robust decision-making. Originally developed with support from the American Red Cross (International Services Team), it is an adaptation of a more complex game created for the World Bank Chief Economist for Sustainable Development.
