Delivering benefits through evidence - Local flood risk research roadmap
This roadmap for local flood risk identifies a programme of projects addressing science, knowledge, sharing of best practices and capacity building needs. The purpose is to coordinate research commissioning so that it meets user needs and is delivered more effectively and efficiently.
The roadmap builds upon the previous Integrated Urban Drainage framework, which was published in 2009. This document identifies practitioner-focused research projects and 15 strategic research questions which inform longer term needs to advance our knowledge in local flood risk management.
The research projects and strategic research questions will help to achieve the needs of the local flood risk management community. This roadmap has defined local flood risk management outcomes and identified the research necessary in realising those outcomes.
