Design, monitoring, and evaluation in a changing climate: lessons learned from agriculture and food security programme evaluations in Asia
This paper is an evaluation review highlighting and distilling findings related to the climate change adaptation programme interventions. The review presents monitoring and evaluation procedures used to assess "lessons learned" that are pertinent to climate change adaptation, which have been drawn from a small selection of agriculture/food security (AFS) programmes across Asia. The paper gives a brief overview of climate change in Asia and the implications for agriculture and food security, outlines four example programmes, and derives key lessons that are pertinent to those monitoring and evaluating climate adaptation interventions.
