Disaster risk profile: Armenia

Armenia's population and economy are exposed to earthquakes and floods, with earthquakes posing the greater risk of a high impact, but lower probability event. 

These risk profiles provide a preliminary view of disaster risk at the national level, and distribution of risk across regions of the country and types of assets. They enable the identification and prioritization of risk, to guide risk management activities and identify the need for further, more detailed risk assessment.
