This guideline gives an introduction to Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), describes the integration of DRR in programming, and goes into the introduction of DRR in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services. It describes the approach of integrating DRR in WASH, tools that can be used, and specific measures that can be taken to increase the resilience of WASH services.

The guideline was written for WASH specialists and coordinators of WASH interventions.
