Earthquakes and megacities initiative: assess, empower, implement, sustain

This brochure presents EMIs' mission, objectives, milestones and main activities. As an international, not-for-profit, scientific organization, EMI is dedicated to the reduction of disaster risk in megacities and major metropolises. It also serves as a catalyst for the delivery of scientific and technical knowledge to local government officials, policy makers, practitioners, and disaster management technical personnel.
