Ethiopia climate-smart agriculture scoping study
This study identifies and documents existing climate-smart agriculture (CSA) practices in Ethiopia that enable stakeholders to understand the opportunities and constraints to adopting particular CSA technologies or practices. It introduces the stakeholders in CSA activities as well as the policies, strategies and institutions relevant to CSA. Further, it presents case studies, identifies the key challenges to implementing CSA in Ethiopia and provides recommendations.
This report is aimed at informing agricultural related policies, programmes and projects in the country with the aim of sustainably increasing agricultural production and productivity; building resilience to climate-related hazards; and contributing to climate change mitigation.
