Hanover emergency management plan
This plan seeks to document the key players of disaster management in Hanover, their roles and responsibilities, available resources, critical infrastructure in addition to other pertinent information. Hanover is the second smallest parish in Jamaica. Jamaica is vulnerable to disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, fires among others. The parish of Hanover is certainly not exempt as it has had its fair share of disasters over the past years.
This plan covers all hazards; natural and man-made, technological and anthropogenic. This plan also makes provisions for medical emergencies such as disease and pandemics, provides guidelines for handling refugee situations and any other emergency requiring a coordinated response within Hanover.
