This report profiles the hazards of Myanmar in order to help in identification and prioritisation of future disaster preparedness and mitigation interventions. Based on secondary data, it captures nine frequent hazards, including: cyclones, drought, earthquake, fire, floods, forest fire, landslide, storm surge, and tsunami.

The report has been prepared by a team comprising five Government Ministries and Departments and four non-Government Agencies.
