HB 89:2013: risk management - Guidelines on risk assessment techniques

This handbook is based on International Standard ISO/IEC 31010:2009, Risk management—Risk assessment techniques, and incorporates material from AS/NZS 3931:1998, Risk analysis of technological systems—Application guide. The objective of this handbook is to provide guidance on good practice for assessing risk, as part of a risk management process in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009, Risk management—Principles and guidelines, and to assist in making decisions under conditions of uncertainty. It provides an overview of a range of risk assessment techniques, and guidance on their selection and implementation.
