International Disaster Response Laws, Rules and Principles (IDRL) programme mid-year report
This documents reports on the IFRC's International Disaster Response Laws, Rules and Principles (IDRL) programme which seeks to reduce human vulnerability by promoting legal preparedness for disasters, in particular with regard to international assistance, for the period 1 January 2011 to 30 June 2011. It summarises the achievements against the three programme components: (i) technical assistance to governments; (ii) training and capacity building; and (iii) dissemination, advocacy and research, including new research on law in disaster risk reduction undertaken.
